More than 300 artists entered the SPIN/2K Games contest, hoping to get their track featured in the upcoming Major League Baseball 2K10 video game. After sorting through all the submissions, our judges -- Hold Steady vocalist Craig Finn and SPIN editor Doug Brod -- have chosen 16 favorites for the final round of competition.

John Varvatos and special guest judges are searching for the next great rock'n'roll band!
The winning act will receive a development deal with Island Records and be featured in the next international ad campaign for John Varvatos Star USA.
Selected bands will win a chance to perform at John Varvatos 315 Bowery during New York's Fashion Week in September 2009.
