Here's the Deal

Soundcheck is a feature in the front of every issue of SPIN that features 3 of the most incredible, awe-inspiring and never before seen recent music photographs from all over the world. Each image is printed across a full 2 pages and all images are shot solely on spec. Submit your best live shots that meet the following criteria for Soundcheck consideration.

Guidelines

Soundcheck Submissions will only be considered if they meet the following criteria:

Photo must:

Be horizontally oriented

Taken within the last 30 days

Submitted in JPG format at 9 x 12.5 at 72 dpi or larger (900+ pixels wide)

Subject of the photo should be an interesting live performance/crowd shot/backstage or otherwise musically oriented.

The subject should not fall in the center of the frame due to the magazine gutter.

The artist depicted in the photo must not have been featured in Soundcheck in the past 6 months
