Arena-filling rockers aren't immune to the current hysteria around Lost, the mystical ABC TV series whose anxiously anticipated conclusion will air May 23.

Marilyn Manson just posted a painting on his Facebook page of John Locke, one of the show's central characters (played by Terry O'Quinn), around whom much of the show's final scenes will likely revolve. You can see the painting below.

On Facebook, Manson explained that he made the painting for his bandmate Twiggy Ramirez, who may be -- like millions of viewers worldwide -- obsessed with Lost.

What do you think of Manson's piece? Sound off in the comments.

Not too bad, the neck makes it look odd, but really great all the same. Although I would have much preferred him to do a rendition of "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALT!"

Minus the giraffe neck, it does look like Locke. I don't like Marilyn, but this is pretty decent, like someone else said he's a better painter than he is a musician. I guess the guy is talented at something related to art, after all...

I'm no fan of MM's music, but that's a pretty good painting. Good for him.

this painting is really well put together. i am a fan of all music, i have always thought as long as you can put your heart and soul into things its worth the time. art is my passion, i am a very critical person when it comes to art, very picky due to the fact that everyone these days is so bland in my opinion. no matter what now, its always going to be a ripoff of someone, maybe honestly he was always passionate about former artists. i believe he did amazing on this painting and i would pay good money to own this piece if it was available.

For Manson, its not bad.

For art as a whole, its a Ralph Steadman (Hunter S. Thompson's artist) rip off.

Its a great picture except it looks nothing like Locke. If this picture was without a caption would anyone, I mean ANYONE guess it was Locke? It looks like a typical tortured impressionist hack job ala any Tool video. MM is funny and intelligent to interview, great at cultivating media, but utterly lacking in originality and talent.

He might be more talented as a painter than as a musician... :-]

I never was too interested in Manson's music, but his art is very good. Watercolors are a challenging medium; he seems to understand the medium very well.

Manson has a way of capturing his subjects character that is amazing. I love the colors he uses. Haha John Locke looks like a crafty old goat here.

i see a little bit of himself in this painting. i've heard that artists will include physical characteristics of themselves in their paintings; whether it's intentional or not i can't say. what do you think? are artists subconsciously doing this? are there any artistic people willing to give their opinions? come now, don't be shy.

I reall love it, especially since he's presented as a negative force (so we think, to some degree) in this season. Terry O'Quinn has a face that can be so kind and humane (earlier seasons as "John Locke" rather than "Smocke"), but MAN can he look evil and dangerous. This totally captures that aspect of the character this season!

that is actually pretty great, like a horror house caricature of Terry O'Quinn,
